case study
Autohandel Wilus
Brand identity and visual branding.
Branding and website for the company Autohandel Wilus
Autohandel Wilus is a German company with nearly 30 years of experience, specializing in the sale of new and used cars. Collaborating with them, we had the pleasure of creating a website that emphasizes the authenticity of the brand and showcases their attractive sales offer. Additionally, we designed modern branding for them, including a logo, folder, and letterhead.
Project goals
and challenges
In our collaboration with Autohandel Wiluś, we quickly noticed that despite their successful presence in the market for many years, they face challenges in adapting to modern standards of digital presence. In the internet era, the first impression often relies on the brand’s online presentation, and a professional website along with consistent visual identity become essential for success. Appearance, communication, and accessibility for the customer are crucial. We identified specific problems that Autohandel Wiluś encountered, and then proposed and implemented effective solutions to strengthen their position in the automotive world.
Problems
- Lack of a professional website and absence of customer authenticity confirmation as a seller.
- Despite many years in the market, the company lacked visual identity elements such as a company logo, folder, and business cards. Attempts were made over the years, but they ended in customer dissatisfaction and were ultimately not put into use.
- No simple redirection to car offers.
- Lack of information about the company and its distinguishing elements in the market.
- Contact only possible via phone during company hours.
Here are the specific corrective actions:
The Solution
- Adding a gallery to the website showcasing the professional car showroom and incorporating customer reviews.
- Creating several logo proposals that delighted the client. Additionally, designing stationery items such as folder and business cards. These actions helped the company build a professional image, credibility, and set it apart from the competition.
- Adding a “Browse Cars” section in the menu for easy access to car offers.
- Introducing elements on the website highlighting what distinguishes them from the competition.
- Creating a contact form.
Comprehensive
visual identity
Paweł prepared a series of logo proposals for our Client, aiming to emphasize the uniqueness and professionalism of the company. Each of these projects was created with the intention of becoming not only a symbol but also a strong foundation for the brand’s visual identity.
We didn’t stop at just the logo. We developed a whole range of visual materials: from business cards to letterheads, and elegant folders. Together, they create a cohesive, modern, and memorable image that not only reflects our Client’s values but also allows them to gain an advantage in business contacts and stand out among competitors.
Preparing the new look
Upon receiving approval for the mockup, our team moves on to the next stage – creating the look of the new website. Our graphic designer carefully selects a color palette and creates a cohesive, attractive design. Once the visual concept is approved by the client, we proceed to the coding and implementation stage.
Website
coding
For creating the website, we have chosen CMS WordPress with a custom-made template designed specifically for this project. Developing websites on our own template, rather than using a template offered, for example, on ThemeForest, provides us with several key benefits:
We can almost perfectly replicate the graphic design on the website.
We have extensive options for website optimization, resulting in lightning-fast loading times.
The user interface for content management is extremely intuitive.
When creating websites, we always ensure that adding content is as simplified as possible. WordPress has been offering a content management system using blocks for some time now. As part of the project, we divided the entire design into separate blocks, allowing for the assembly of subpages like LEGO blocks. In the screenshot below, you can see what editing the first block on the homepage looks like.
Website
optimization
The page, fast and compliant with Core Web Vitals, not only improves search engine rankings but also ensures longer user presence on the website. After programming the site, we focused on its optimization to ensure satisfactory performance results in leading analytics services. Thanks to our custom template, even without additional optimization tools, the page achieves very good results. After several minutes of fine-tuning, we achieved a result that we are satisfied with.
Below, we have our optimization score on the left side, and the old page’s score on the right side.
Publishing
the website
After completing the programming and thorough testing, we were ready for publication. Upon receiving all the access data, we proceeded to replace the website during off-peak hours to avoid causing inconvenience to potential customers.
